2007 Hawaii Superferry News
Construction of the first Hawaii Superferry was completed in April of 2007 but the new inter-island ferry's August 2007 debut was fraught with delays, community protests, legal actions.

2006 Hawaii Superferry News
In 2006 the Hawaii Superferry won a "Deal of the Year" award and it opened a new headquarters office in downtown Honolulu. Community action for and against the new super ferry continued.

2005 Hawaii Superferry News
In 2005 the Superferry obtained $140 million in equity financing, polls were conducted to assess community support for the ferry, and Hawaii Superferry CEO said requiriing environmental study would delay the Superferry launch.
