Singapore Sling Recipe

A Singapore Sling is a sweet tropical drink made with cherry brandy, orange liqueur, gin, Benedictine, pineapple juice, lime juice, and bitters. It is usually garnished with a cherry and a slice of pineapple or orange. The Singapore Sling was created by bartender Ngiam Tong Boon in the early 1900's at the Long Bar at Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Ordering it is still a tradition among visitors to the hotel.
