Sangrita Recipes

A Sangrita is a tropical drink made with tomato juice, orange juice, and hot sauce or chile powder. Some versions also include other ingredients such as lime juice and Worcestershire sauce. A Sangrita can either be made with tequila, or without tequila, to be used as a tequila chaser.

SANGRITA WITH TEQUILA

Ingredients
  • 2 cups of Orange Juice
  • 3 tablespoons Grenadine
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Chili Powder
  • 1 cup of Tomato Juice
  • 3 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 1/2 ounces of Tequila

    Instructions
    Pour tequila into a glass over ice cubes. Mix remaining ingredients together and add to the Tequila


    SANGRITA TEQUILA CHASER

    Ingredients
  • 2 cups of Tomato Juice
  • 1 cup of Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Cup of Lime Juice
  • 2 teaspoons of Tabasco Hot Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons of Minced Onion
  • 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire Sauce
  • Cracked Pepper
  • Celery Salt
  • Seasoned Salt

    Instructions
    Shake ingredients together, strain, chill, and serve.
