Banana Cow Recipe

A Banana Cow is a tropical drink with rum and bananas or banana liqueur. Here are two different versions of a banana cow: one made with fresh banana and one made with creme de bananes and grenedine.

BANANA COW I
Ingredients for 1 drink

1 ounce of light rum

1 small ripe banana

1/2 cup of milk

1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dash of Angostura bitters

1 cup crushed ice

Instructions
Peel and thinly slice the banana, and mix it with the rum, milk, vanilla, bitters, and ice in a blender, and blend on high speed for 20 or 30 seconds, until it is smooth and frothy. Pour into a 12 ounce glass and serve immediately.

BANANA COW II
Ingredients

1 ounce light rum

1 ounce creme de bananes

1 1/2 ounce cream

1 dash grenadine syrup

1 slice of banana (for garnish)

nutmeg

Instructions
Combine rum, creme de banana, cream, and grenadine in a shaker with crushed ice and pour into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a banana slice and a sprinkling of nutmeg.
