Waikiki Hotels by Location
Oahu, Hawaii

Information about hotels in Waikiki organized by location. Includes hotels on the Ala Moana end of Waikiki, the Diamond end of Waikiki, and hotels on and near the beach in the center of Waikiki

Hotels On the Beach in Waikiki
There are more then eighty hotels in Waikiki but only eleven of them sit directly on the beach.

Hotels Across From the Beach in Waikiki
Hotels located directly across the street from Waikiki Beach.

Kuhio Boulevard Hotels in Waikiki
Hotels located about a block from Waikiki Beach on Kuhio Avenue.

Ala Moana Boulevard Hotels in Waikiki
Information about eight Waikiki hotels located directly on Ala Moana Boulevard. Three of these hotels are located in or across the street from Fort Derussy Park, two are across the street from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort, one is adjacent to the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and three are near the spot where Ala Moana Boulevrd crosses the Ala Wai Canal.

Ala Wai Canal Hotels in Waikiki
Hotels on Ala Wai Boulevard and hotels within few buildings of the Ala Wai Canal. Many of these hotels have views of te Ala Wai Canal, the Ala Wai Golf Course, and the Koolau Mountains.

Ala Wai Yacht Harbor Hotels
Three waterfront hotels overlooking and adjacent to the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. These hotels are located on the end of Waikiki that is closest to Magic Island and Ala Moana Beach Park.

Fort DeRussy Park Hotels

Honolulu Zoo Hotels
This section includes hotels across the street from the Honolulu Zoo and hotels in the main part of Waikiki that are within a few blocks of the zoo. There are three hotels directly across the street from the zoo and one of the hostels on Lemon Road is almost across the street from the zoo.

Diamond Head Hotels
The hotels in this area are located on the far Diamond Head end of Kapiolani Park, about a 15 minute walk from the restaurants and shops of Central Waikiki. There are no budget hotels in this area and almost no inexpensive cafes. This area is a good choice for those who prefer a quiet environment and don't mind walking a few blocks to restaurants. If you want to have quick and easy access to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, organized activities, and tourist attractions you probably don't want to stay in this area.
