The Duck Ponds of Waikiki
|
Marker 18 on the Waikiki Historic Trail is located just outside
of Ala Moana Park and across the street caddy corner from
the Ala Moana Shopping Center. It marks an area
where many taro farms and ancient Hawaiian fishponds were
converted to duck farms by Chinese immigrants in the 1800's.
