Spot Where the Japanese Surrendered
after World War II

Visitors to the USS Missouri Battleship in Pearl Harbor can view the exact spot where the Japanese surrendered at the end of world War II. On the left side of this picture there is a display case where surrender documents can be viewed. On the right side of the picture, there is a deck plaque marking the spot where the instrument of surrender was signed.
