Oahu Performing Arts Centers

A directory of concert halls, outdoor amphitheaters, and other large performing arts centers on the island of Oahu. The theaters on this page all seat more then 1000 people. for smaller theaters see Community Theaters on Oahu

Blaisdell Concert Hall
The concert hall at the Neil S. Blaisdell center is the home of the Honolulu Symphony and the Hawaii Opera Theater and it also hosts Broadway productions, and other artistic and cultural performances. Seats more than 2000 people.

Blaisdell Arena
The arena at the Neil S. Blaisdell Center can acommodate up to 8800 people for concerts, sporting events, and other large spectator events.

Hawaii Theatre
This theater on Bethel Street in downtown Honolulu was built in 1922, and was recently given a $22 million renovation that left it's landmark dome intact. It seats 1400 people.

Waikiki Shell
An outdoor theater in Kapiolani Park that seats 2400 people, with room for 6000 more on the grassy area around the theater. the Waikiki Shell is within walking distance of Waikiki hotels.
