Lanikai Beach
Photos and information about Lanikai Beach, a beautiful
and calm, palm-fringed beach on the eastern side of
the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Lanikai is a popular
for swimming, paddle sports, and sailing.

Lanikai Beach is located on the lush windward side of
the island of Oahu, between Kailua Bay and Waimanalo Bay.
It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii, and
one of the best places to swim on Oahu. The
shallow sandy bottom gives the water a turquoise
or green color, and a coral reef protects the beach
and keeps the water calm most of the time. Both of
Lanaiki's offshore islands - Mokumanu and Mokulua - are
seabird sanctuaries. Lanikai Beach is a popular spot
for swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, outrigger canoeing,
and family outings.
