The Ko Olina Resort is located on the dry leeward side of the island of Oahu, on southwest shore, west of Pearl Harbor. There are seven coves - also called lagoons - in the Ko Olina area. There are three smaller coves to the west and four larger covers on the east end of the resort.

The Golf course is located on the inland side of the resort.

On the east end of the resort, beyond the beaches and the marina there is a 1.5 mile cirlcle beach walk around a park.
