2007 Diamond Head Crater Celebration
The 2nd annual Diamond Head Crater Celebration will
take place on May 19, 2007. Performers will be
announced soon.
2006 Diamond Head Crater Celebration
The first concert inside Diamond Head Crater in more then
30 years took place on April 1, 2006 and performers included
the Steve Miller band, WAR, Linda Ronstadt, Yvonne Elliman,
Na leo, the Honolulu Symphony and others.
What Is the Diamond Head Crater Celebration?
The Diamond Head Crater Celebration is a concert featuring
top name international and Hawaii entertainers and booths
selling a wide variety of food, beer, and wine from fine
restaurants, breweries, and wineries.
Past and Future Celebrations
In April of 2006, Rob Gibson and Mark Mellick of GM Entertainment
presented the first concert inside Diamond Head Crater in nearly
30 years. The 2nd Diamond Head Crater Celebration is scheduled to take place
on May 19, 2007 and GM has permits to hold another event in 2008.
In future years GM is planning to extend
the celebration to the outer Hawaiian islands.
Tickets
Tickets to the Diamond Head Crater Celebration cost $125 to
$175 and they are usually sold online through TicketMaster
and at the Blaisdell Center in Honolulu.
