Fine Dining on Oahu

High end, special occasion, fine dining restaurants on the island of Oahu, including award winning restaurants and other restaurants famous for their world class cuisine.


Alan Wong's Restaurant
Chef Alan Wong specializes in blending Asian and local Hawaiian cuisine at his award winning Honolulu restaurant. He also has a restaurant in Japan and he owns the Pineapple Room at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. Price for dinner: approximately $35 to $85.

Bali by the Sea
Bali by the Sea is an open air fine dining restaurant at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel which specializes in combining flavors and ingredients from many different Pacific Rim countries.

Bistro at Century Center
The Bistro at Century Center opened in 2003 and it specializes in traditional continental cuisine and fine wines.

Chef Mavro Restaurant
Owner and chef George Mavrothalassitis is from Provence, France and before he opened his own restaurant he was the chef at Halekulani's La Mer Restaurant and the Seasons Restaurant at the Four Seasons Wailea. Dinners cost approximately $40 to $45 and multiple course meals are available for $70 to $150.

Diamond Head Grill
Prime aged beef, fresh fish, and local ingredients are the specialties of this grill restaurant in the W Hotel. Restaurant has large windows overlooking Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head Crater. Dinner entrees cost $25 to $45.

John Dominis Restaurant
This restaurant has been a fixture in Waikiki since it first opened in 1979. Fresh fish is the specialty and the dining room has beautiful views of Waikiki and Diamond Head.

La Mer
An award winning French restaurant at the Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki. Dinners cost $35-45 and multiple course meals are available for $100+.

L'Uraku Euro-Japanese Restaurant

Michel's at the Colony Surf

Honolulu, Hawaii

Morton's the Steakhouse
Specializes in steak cuts such as filet mignon, porterhouse steak, New York steak, rib eye steak, and prime rib.

Orchids Restaurant
Open air seafood restaurant at the luxurious Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki.

Roy's Restaurant
Chef Roy Yamaguchi specializes in seafood dishes that combine local flavors with European sauces and Asian spices. There are three Roy's on Oahu, one at Lewers and Kalia Road in Waikiki, one in Hawaii Kai, and one at the Ko Olina Resort in West Oahu.
