Best Oahu Breakfast Restaurants

A guide to some of the best and most popular Oahu breakfast restaurants, including cafes and restaurants in Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, Aiea, Kailua on the windward side, and the north shore town of Haleiwa. Note that breakfast lines can be long for the most popular Oahu breakfast restaurants, but just think of that as an indicator of how good the food is!

Anna Miller's 24 Hour Restaurant
This restaurant is located in Pearlridge Shopping Center in Aiea, and it is one of the most popular breakfast spots on Oahu. On the weekends it often has long lines for breakfast. They have a large menu of American and Hawaiian style breakfast items, including chicken fried steak breakfast. Anna Miller's is also well-known for pies, and especially for their fresh strawberry pie. The first Anna Miller's restaurant opened in Hawaii in 1973 and since then most of their expansion has been in Japan, where the restaurant is as famous for its waitress uniforms as it is for the food (the Hawaii restaurant does not have the same uniforms). In Japan the Anna Miller's is advertised as serving "American Foods, Pennsylvania Dutch Home Made Pies and Sweets". Anna Miller was the name of founder Stanley Miller's grandmother.
