Bright Theatre
(formerly Castle Theatre)
The 670 seat Ronald E. Bright Theatre was built in 1980
and it was originally called the Castle Theatre. Located
at Castle High School in Kaneohe on the eastern windward
side of Oahu. In August of 1994 the Castle Theater was renamed
the Ronald E. Bright Theatre in honor of the founder of the
Castle Performing Arts Center.

Diamond Head Theatre
The 473 seat Diamond Head Theatre is located next
to Fort Ruger and across the street
from Kapiolani Community college in Kaimuki on the slopes
of Diamond Head Crater. Known as "The Broadway
of the Pacific", the Diamon Head Theater has
been featuring live community theater performances
since 1915.

Doris Duke Theatre
The Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Academy of Arts is
a venue for live music performances, lectures, and art films.

Kennedy Theatre
The theater complex at the University of Hawaii
at Manoa includes the 600 seat John F. Kennedy
Theatre and the 150 seat Earle Ernst Lab Theatre.
Kumu Kahua Theatre
The Kumu Kahua Theatre is located in downtown Honolulu
and it features plays written by local Hawaii playwrights.
The performances typically feature themes and stories about
the local people of Hawaii. The theatre is sometimes
just called Kumu. The theater's motto is "Plays About Life
in Hawaii. Plays by Hawaii's playrights. Plays for Hawaii's People".
Leeward Community College Theatre
The main theater theater at Leeward Community College (LCC)
in Pearl City seats 574 people and the Lab Theater seats
50 to 65 people. The LCC theater complex was built in 1974.

Mamiya Theatre
The Dr. Richard T. Mamiya Theater is located on the
campus of the Saint Louis School and Chaminade University
campus. The theater is part of the Saint Louis Center for the Arts
(3142 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96816-1579.

Manoa Valley Theatre
The 150 seat Manoa Valley Theatre was built in
1987 by a theater by a theater group then known
as the Hawaii Performing Arts Company. That
theater group is known known as Manoa Valley Theatre
and they specialize in producing Broadway and
Off Broadway plays and musicals. (2833 East Manoa Road,

Pakilu Theatre
A 300 seat thater on the campus
of Windward Community College in Kaneohe. The theater
is a venue for concerts, plays, musicals, dance performances,
film festivals, lectures, Hawaiian music sessions,and more.

Paul and Vi Loo Theatre
The Paul and Vi Loo Theatre is located on the
Windward Hawaii Loa campus of Hawaii Pacific University.

Princess Kawananakoa Auditorium
The Princess Abigail Kawananakoa Auditorium
was built in 1937 on the grounds of the Prince David
Kawananakoa Middle School. It is the home of the Hawaii Repertory Theatre group.
In 2005 Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle released $283,000 in
funding to renovate the auditorium.

Richardson Theatre
The 808-seat Richardson Theater was built on the grounds
of Fort Shafter in 1942 (some sources say 1948). Fort
Shafter is located near the Honolulu International Airport.
In 1987 the Richardson Theatre became the home
of the Army Community Theatre company.

Tenney Theater
The Tenney Theater is located at St. Andrew's Cathedral
on Beretania Street in Honolulu. It is
the home of the Honolulu Theater for Youth
community theater group.
