Information about chess parks, public chess tables, and chess clubs in
Honolulu and on other parts of the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
Where to Play Chess in Hawaii
Kuhio Beach Chess Park in Waikiki
The old Waikiki Chess Park was located on Kalakaua Avenue,
across the street from McDonald's Restaurant, but that one was
torn down as part of a Kuhio Beach improvement project, I think in
2005 or 2006. Fortunately the city of Honolulu included
some checkerboard tables and small lockers in most of the shaded picnic
areas they built along Kalakaua Avenue in Kuhio Beach Park
Mililani Town Center Open Chess Sessions
