Bishop Museum
Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

  • The largest museum in Hawaii is located in the Kalihi District of Honolulu. It has a large collection of ancient Polynesian and Hawaiian artifacts as well as exhibits featuring the Hawaiian Monarchy, Hawaii's missionary, plantation, and whaling history, and the history of Hawaii's many different ethnic groups. The Bishop Museum is also the home of the Jhamandas Watumull Planetarium, one of the largest insect research centers in the world, the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame, and the Pacific Science Association.
