The 8800 square foot Aloha Tower Marketplace on
Ala Moana Boulevard in Honolulu has architecture
reminiscent of Honolulu in the 1930's and 1940's.
The center opened in 1994 as part of the
Honolulu Harbor commercial revitalization project.
Shops in the Aloha Tower Marketplace
The center has more then 50 specialty shops, including
jewelry shops, home shops, a ukulele shop, gift shops,
and a large number of clothing shops.
Restaurants in the Aloha Tower Marketplace
There are eight full service restaurants in the marketplace,
including
Chai's Island Bistro,
Don Ho's Island Grill,
Tower Grill. Restaurants feature
Hawaiian style, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican,
steak and seafood, and more. There are also
several fast food cafes featuring Italian food,
Hawaiian plate lunches, Japanese food, salads, and sandwiches.
The center's two story food court was designed
to look like a ship's deck.

There is free daily entertainment in the center's interior atrium and
some of Hawaii's top traditional and contemporary singers
and musicians perform at Chai's Island Bistro, Don Ho's Island Grill,
