Aloha Stadium in Honolulu
This picture of the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii was taken
from the deck of the USS Missouri Battleship in
Pearl Harbor. The boat in the foreground is transporting
visitors to the USS Arizona Memorial. The bridge
on the left side of the picture connects Ford Island
and mainland Oahu, and it is the route taken by
the USS Missouri Battleship shuttle buses.

Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii was built in 1975, and
it is located at the edge of Pearl Harbor, about two miles from
the Honolulu International Airport and twelve miles from Waikiki.
The stadium can seat 50,000 people and more then 400
wheelchairs. It is owned and managed by the State of Hawaii.
The stands are moveable, so the stadium can be set up in
three different configurations: An oval for football, a
diamond for baseball, and a triangle for concerts.
Events held at the Aloha Stadium include football,
baseball, soccer, boxing, motocross, mud races,
tractor pulls, music festivals, carnivals,
concerts, and a swap meet held three times a week.
Annual events at the Aloha Stadium include NCAA Hawaii Bowl, the NFL
Pro Bowl, and the independently managed
Hula Bowl. It is also the venue for the
University of Hawaii Warriors football games.
