The Ala Moana Hotel was purchased by Crescent Heights in 2004 and after that purchase it was converted to a condotel, where each guest room is sold to an individual buyers, most of whom rent their units out as hotel rooms. Crescent Heights began a multi-million dollar renovation 2004.
