Lakes of Hawaii

A guide to the Lakes of Hawaii.

Lake Wilson
This large irrigation reservoir near Wahiawa in central Oahu is commonly known as Lake Wilson. The lake is a popular spot for freshwater fishing because it has been stocked with more then 17 species of fish, including bass,catfish, tilapia, and more. The lake is located within the Wahiawa Freshwater State Recreation Area, and facilities include picnic tables and a boat ramp. No swimming or waterskiing is allowed in the lake and boating is only allowed for fishing purposes.
