Na Hoku Hanohano Awards
The Na Hoku Hanohano Awards were founded in 1978 by KCCN-AM
radio personality Krash Kealoha as a promotional event. Today the
award winners are selected by the Hawaiian Academy of Recording
Arts (HARA).

The Hawaii Music Awards are a people's choice award program
founded in 1996. The awards are organized and managed by the
Music Foundation of Hawaii.
Grammy Awards for Hawaiian Music
In 2005 a Hawaiian music category was added to the
Grammy Awards issued by the U.S. National Academy of
Recording Arts and Sciences.
Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame
The Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame was founded in 1994. The mission of the
organization is to promote, preserve and perpetuate Hawaiian music by
celebrating the achievements of significant composers, singers and performers.
