Youth Hostels on Maui

Information about youth hostels and similiar bunk-style accommodations on the island of Maui in Hawaii.

Banana Bungalows Maui
Accommodations include bunks in shared dorm-style rooms, and private rooms with twin or queen size beds. Areas shared by all guests include a full kitchen, TV room, game room, barbeque, and laundry facilties. Free airport pickup and free tours every day including snorkeling excursions, and tours of Lahaina, the road to Hana, and the West Maui Mountains. Rates are approximately $25 to $70 per night, and monthly dorm rates are available, with super-deep discounts to those who bring surfing, windsurfing, or kitesurfing equipment. Located three miles from Kanaha Beach and Kite Beach, five miles from Spreckles Beach and Hookipa, seven miles from Kihei, and twenty miles from Lahaina. This hostel and motel in Wailuku in north central Maui has been owned and operated by Jim Heine since 1996.
