Maui Fireworks Displays on New Year's Eve
Maui typically has New Year's Eve aerial fireworks displays in Hana, on Wailea Beach, and on Maluaka Beach.

Faimont Kea Lani - 2006 New Year's Eve Celebration
The 2006 New Year's Eve celebration at the Fairmont Kea Lani Resort in Wailea Maui will begin at 7:00 pm with an appetizer reception around one of the hotel's swimming pools, followed by a buffet dinner featuring lobster, beef tenderloin, lamb chops, fish, sushi, and tempura. There will dancing from 10:00 to 12:30 in the resort's ballroom. All beverages are included in the rate. Children are welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Celebrate New Year's Eve at a Maui Hotel
Many of Maui's resorts and hotels organize special activities and celebrations on New Year's Eve, and usually you do not have to be a hotel guest to participate. Contact the activities desk of each hotel to find out what they have planned.

Celebrate New Year's Eve at a Maui Restaurant
Many fine dining restaurants on Maui have special dinner celebrations on New Year's Eve.

First Night Maui
This alcohol-free New Year's Eve street celebration goes on all day and it features multiple stages where musicians, singers, and other entertainers perform. I am trying to find more information about this event.

Personal Fireworks and Firecrackers
Firecrackers are a strong cultural tradition in Hawaii, but some islanders would like to see them outlawed because they can cause injuries and fires, scare pets, and cause air pollution that is a danger to small children, the elderly, and people with asthma. The safest way to enjoy fireworks on New Year's Eve in Hawaii is to watch one of the public aerial fireworks displays.
