Hawaiian Luau Events on Maui

Where to find a Hawaiian luau on the island of Maui in Hawaii.

Old Lahaina Luau
This award winning luau is located in Lahaina, on an acre of land on the oceanside of the Lahaina Cannery at 1251 Front Street. Upon arriving at the luau grounds, guests are greeted with a fresh flower lei, a tropical drink, and a souvenir program. Then they escorted to their assigned seats, and introduced to the Luau grounds, where arts and crafts are on display, professional photographers are available, and Hawaiian music is played. The Imu oven is opened, and then dinner is served. Salad and dessert is served by waiters, and the main dinner is served buffet style. As the sun sets, the Hawaiian show begins. It covers the history of Hawaiian, including dances and performances based on the migration of Polynesians to Hawaii, the chants of the ancient Hawaiians, the Hawaiian Kingdom, the arrival of the missionaries, and the modern hula. All seating is reserved, and guests can select Hawaiian style mat seating or conventional tables and chairs For reservations call 808-667-1998 or 800-248-5828.

Feast at Lele
This Luau has been operating since 1999 and it is a partnership between the Old Lahaina Luau and the award winning 'O and Pacific 'O restaurants. With a seating capacity of 160, the Feast at Lele is smaller then the Old Lahaina Luau, and it differs also in that it showcases the food and entertainment of several South Pacific islands including Tahiti, Samoa, and New Zealand. Guests of the Feast at Lele, are seated at tables with candles and white linens and a multiple course meal is served by waiters. Each course is based on the food of a different Hawaiian nation, island, and as it is served, music and dances from that island are performed. The Feast at Lele is more of a elegant night on the town then a traditional luau, and as such, it appeals to adults looking for a romantic evening out.

Maui Prince Hotel Luau
The luau at the Maui Prince Hotel on the southwest coast of Maui is called the "Maui Sunset Luau". The luau is directly on the beach and (is there?) an open bar. There is a nearby black sand beach and the menu includes Hawaiian food and other other items such as chicken, and vegetables. The show at this luau is called the "Drums of Makena", which includes native performers from several different South Pacific island groups. When you arrive at this luau you can have a cocktail, and walk around the ground. Later there is an imu ceremony, and then a buffet dinner is served. For more information call 808-875-5888.

Hyatt Regency Luau
A Luau followed by a Polynesian review called "Drums of the Pacific".

Maui Marriott Luau
This is the most attended luau on Maui.

Outrigger Wailae Resort Luau

Wailea Sunset Luau
The luau at the Wailea Beach Resort is called the "Wailea Sunset Luau" and it is located located in upscale Wailea on Mokapu Beach on the south coast of maui.
