West Maui Golf Courses
Kaanapali Golf Courses
There are two 18 hole golf courses on the grounds of the Kaanapali Resort
Development. The Royal Kaanapali Golf Course which first opened in
1962 and the Kaanapali Kai Golf Course, located
north of Lahaina and south of Napili Bay and Kapalua.
Kapalua Golf Courses
There are three 18-hole golf courses on the grounds of the Kapalua Resort,
(1) the 7411 yard, par 73 Kapalua Plantation Course,
the 6600 yard, par 72 Kapalua Bay Course, and the 6317 yard, par 70
Village Course. Hotels near those golf courses include
the Kapalua Bay Hotel and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.
Kapalua is the home of the
Mercedes Benz Golf Championship, the
Kapalua LPGA Classic women's golf tournament, and the
Kapalua Clambake Pro-Am Golf Tournament.
Kapalua is located on the west coast of Maui, north of Kaanapali and
Napili Bay and south of Honokohau Bay. The Kapalua Golf Course first opened in 1991.
Located at 300 Kapalua Drive in Lahaina. For more information

Waiehu Municipal Golf Course
The 18 hole, par 72 golf Maui County municipal course
is a great place to play a low-cost game of golf but
it's a good idea to make reservations here well in advance.
The first 9 holes of this course were built in 1920
and the second 9 holes were built about 40 years later,
which makes this course almost feel like you are playing on
two 9 hole golf courses. Located on the north coast of
West Maui, north of Wailuku Town, off of Highway 340, on Halewaiu Road
Isthmus of Maui Golf Courses
Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course
The 18 hole
Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course was designed by
golf course architect Robin Nelson and it first opened in 1999.
Facilities include a golf school, a lighted driving range, a restaurant, a pro
shop, and a banquet room. Located in the Isthmus of Maui on the
south side of Kahului Town. The wind makes this a difficult course.
East Maui Golf Courses
Elleair Maui Golf Club
Facilities at the 6404 yard Elleair Golf Course include a new driving range,
a golf school, on-course ice water stations, and a pro shop.
The course was designed by W. J. Noewis and it first opened in 1987.
The Elleair Golf course is located in the town of Kihei on the inland side
of Highway 31.
Makena Golf Courses
The Makena Golf Course is located on
the grounds of the Makena Resort Development on the south coast of East Maui,
south of Kihei and Wailea and north of Ahihi Bay.
The Makena Resort has two 18 hole golf courses:
the 6914 yard, 72 par Makena North Course and the
Makena South Course which was closed in May of 2008 for
renovations being directed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
Pukalani Golf and Country Club
(upcountry)
The 160 acre
Pukalani Golf Course is
an 18 hole, 6962 yard, par 72 course
in upcountry Maui.
It was designed by golf course architect Bob Baldock and built
in 1980. Located at an elevation of about 1100 feet, on the
grounds of the Pukalani Country Club,
in Makawao, on the slopes of Mount Haleakala.
Wailea Golf Courses
There are three golf courses on the grounds of the Wailea Resort Development
in East Maui, the 6765 yard
Wailea Old Blue Course, the
7078 yard Wailea Gold Course and the newest Wailea golf course, the
6825 yard Wailea Emerald Course.
For several years The Wailea Golf Course was the home of the
Wendy's Champions Skins Game. Located southeast coast of Maui
south of Kihei and north of Makena
