Shark's Cove
Lanai, Hawaii

Information about Shark's Cove on the south coast of the island of Lanai in Hawaii.

Shark's Cove on Lanai
Photo Credit: Forest and Kim Starr (USGS)

In the above picture, the large bay at the top is Hulopoe Bay and the small bay in the foreground, with the small beach, is Shark's Cove, or Shark's Bay, as it is sometimes called. You can see a small bit of the Manele Bay Resort in the upper right part the picture. Note that the large bay in front of the resort is actually Hulopoe Bay. Manele Bay sits on the other side of Shark's Cove, behind the photographer.
