Beaches of Lanai

Information about beaches on the island of Lanai in Hawaii. Lanai has 47 miles of coastline and approximately 18 sandy beaches, but not all of them are easy to get to.

North Lanai Beaches

Polihua Beach
This beach on the northwest coast of Lanai is about 11 miles north of Lanai City. It can only be reached on a dirt road in a four wheel drive vehicle.

Shipwreck Beach
This beach is located on the northeast coast of Lanai, and it can only be reached in a four-wheel drive vehicle.

South Lanai Beaches

Hulopoe Beach
This beach is located in a marine sanctuary and it is a popular spotfor swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. You can also see ruins of an ancient village near this beach.

Manele Bay Beach

Puu Pehe Beach
Also called Sweetheart Rock Beach

East Lanai Beaches

Halepalaoa Beach

Lopa Beach
