Ten Popular Attractions on Lanai

Information about ten of the most popular visitor attractions on the island of Lanai in Hawaii

  1. Lanai City
    Located in the central highlands of Lanai, near the Lodge at Koele.

  2. Munro Trail
    This jeep trail runs along the highest ridge on Lanai, all the way up to the highest point on the island, 3370 foot Mount Lanaihale. The trail begins just north of Manele Bay and it ends just north of Lanai City.

  3. Kaunolu Village Archaeological Site
    The remains if this Hawaiian fishing village on the southwest cost of Lanai is a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

  4. Garden of the Gods
    This bizarre landscape is located in the north central part of the island.

  5. Poaiwa Petroglyphs

  6. Hulopoe Beach

  7. Hulopoe Tidepools

  8. Shipwreck Beach
    This beach is located on the northeast coast of Lanai, and it got its name because of a shipwreck that can be seen off the coast.

  9. Polihua Beach
    This beach is on the northwest coast of Lanai at the end of a dirt road.
