Information about Wailua Falls on the east side of the island of Kauai in Hawaii.

Easy to get to because it's close to Maalo Road

Featured in the opening credits of Fantasy Island television show.

The amount of water flowing over the falls changes as the amount of rainfall changes

Sun shines on the falls in the early maorning

There's a trail to the bottom and some like to swim in the pool. the trail is muddy, slippery and dangerous. The trail islocated less then a mile form the lookout point.

Don't jump from the top - it's too dangerous!

Take highway 56 north from Lihue to Maalo Road, which is Highway 583. The waterfall is at the end of the road, only 5 minutes from Lihue.
