Tahiti Fete Outrigger Canoe Race
This annual outrigger canoe race is a fundraiser for
the Hanalei Canoe Club. The 21st event took place
on July 1, 2006 and it was a 1/4 mile, 6-person canoe
regatta with categories for beginners, masters over
age 40, and an open category for all other experienced
canoe paddlers. The event organizers provide
canoes, paddles and steersman for participants.
