Romantic Inns on Kauai
A selection of the most romantic hotels on the island of Kauai,
including beautiful bed and breakfast inns and plantation
style cottages in a coconut grove near a black sand beach.
Waimea Plantation Cottages
These historic plantation cottages in a coconut grove near a
black sand beach were built in the early 1900's and they
were originally the homes of plantation
workers and their families. The units have 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5
bedrooms, and there are also room-only accommodations in the
main house. Facilities on the grounds include an
oceanfront swimming pool, beach volleyball courts, croquet
lawn, shuffleboard, and bocce ball,and a recreation room
with a television, videos for rent, a lounging area,
vending machines, board games, and a ping pong table.
Secret Beach Kauai Cottages
Two beautiful and luxurious cottages on 11 acres of lawns
and tropical gardens 150 yards from secluded Secret Beach
on the north shore of Kauai. Both Hale Lani and Hale Nanea
have full gourmet kitchens, designer furniture covered with
tropical silk fabrics, views of the sea, luxurious bathrooms with
dual head showers, queen size beds with european
linens, private outdoor spas, televisions, VCRs, DVD players,
private lanais, and and outdoor gas barbeques.
Gloria's Spouting Horn B&B
This luxurious Poipu bed and breakfast inn
has three oceanfront rooms,
each with a private bathroom, Japanese soaking tub,
oceanfront lanai, a small refrigerator, and a
four poster bed. Amenities on the grounds include
an oceanfront swimming pool and deck areas.
Room rates include a full breakfast and drinks
and snacks served in the lobby.
Hale Ho'o Maha
These four romantic suites located on the north shore of
Kauai are only a short walk to the popular snorkling spot,
Tunnels Beach. The rooms are known as the Mango,
Papaya, Guava and Pineapple Suites, and all of them
have private lanais, dual head showers, and king
or queen size beds. The Guava Suite has a canopy
bed, and the Pineapple Suite has a large round bed.
Poipu Plantation Resort
This small resort is walking distance
of sunny Poipu Beach, and accommodations
include four large bed-and-breakfast rooms
located near the front of the property,
and nine 1 and 2 bedroom apartments located
elsewhere on the property. The romantic Ali'i
honeymoon suite has a carved four poster king
size bed, a two-person whirlpool bathtub, and
small balcony.
