Kilauea Town
Kauai, Hawaii

Kilauea is a former sugar plantation town on the north coast of the island of Kauai between the Princeville resort area and the town of Hanalei. Kilauea has a population of about 2000 people and the town has several restaurants, markets, a gas station and several shops and specialty stores.

Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge
The Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is located on the northern tip of the island of Kauai. It is one of three wildlife refuges that make up the Kauai National Wildlife Refuge Complex and one of the few Hawaiian wildlife refuges open to the public.

Kilauea Lighthouse
This famous lighthouse is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places.

Kilauea Point
Kilauea Point was owned by the Kilauea Sugar Plantation until 1909. Today it is the home of the Kilauea Lighthouse and a national wildlife refuge.
