Kalalau Valley on Kauai

The Kalalau Valley is located on the north shore of Kauai, inside Na Pali Coast State Park. Visitors to Kauai typically access the valley either by hiking the 11 mile Kalalau Trail or they rent a kayak and paddle in.

Kalalau Hiking Trail
There is an 11 mile hiking trail on the north shore of Kauai that runs from Kee beach to the Kalalau Valley. It is a difficult hike and a Kalalau Valley camping permit is required if you want to continue beyond the first two miles of the trail.
