Kauai Events in February
A guide to events on island of Kauai in Hawaii

Waimea Town Celebration
For 30 years the south Kauai town of Waimea has
organized the Waimea Town Celebration to
bring more then 10,000 Kauai residents and
visitors together to enjoy live entertainment,
local style food, a beer garden, sporting events,
crafts, and games. The event takes place on
the site of the old sugar mill.
Kilohana Solo Outrigger Canoe Race
This long distance race along the Waimea coast of Kauai
is the first event in the Garden Isle Canoe Racing Association
racing season. Both men and women participate. the course typically
runs from the Waimea Landing to Pakala and back.
The race is organized by the Kilohana Canoe Club of Waimea and it
is part of the Waimea Town Celebration.
Eat Dessert First Festival

Kauai's annual "Eat Dessert First" festival
is an annual scholarship fund raiser organized
by the Zonta Club of Kauai. It features
desserts, other food items, a silent auction,
and live entertainment.
The 11th annual event took place on February 10, 2006
at the Terrace Restaurant a the Kauai Lagoons
Golf course. For more information contact

Kauai Concert Association Series
The Kauai Concert Association produces an annual concert series
featuring many different types of music and dancing, including
classical, jazz, world music, and more. Their concert season typically
runs from September to April.
