2006 Hawaii Book Publishers Awards
Every October the Hawaii Book Publishers Association
recognizes the best books published during the previous year
by selecting the best books of the year for their
Ka Palapala Pookela Awards.
In 2006, 134 nominations were received and the winners
listed on this page were selected by the Hawaii Book Academy, a group of
booksellers, educators, publishers, and media professionals.
