Oahu Plantation Tours
Hawaii's Plantation Village
An outdoor museum highlighting the multi-cultural lifestyle
of Hawaii's sugar and pineapple plantations. Located
on the south side of Oahu, in the town of Waipahu.
This is one of my favorite museums on Oahu.
Dole Plantation
The Dole Pineapple Plantation offers
a narrated trainride through pineapple fields,
the world's largest maze, and a tour of the
plantation's gardens.
Located near the town of Wahiawa in central Oahu.
Big Island Plantation Tours
Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts
A visit to this macadamia nut plantation
on the Big Island of Hawaii includes a stop
at their visitor's center and gift shop,
driving through the macadamia nut orchards,
watching the activities inside the nut
and chocolate processing factory. There is
also a snackbar featuring macadamia nut specialties.
Maui Plantation Tours
Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum
This 1800 square foot museum in Puunene is
located next to Hawaii's largest working sugar factory.
The museum highlights the history of the sugar
industry in Hawaii and its effect on the
development of Maui's water resources and
multi-ethnic population.
Kapalua Pineapple Plantation Tour
This two hour walking tour led by actual plantation
workers covers pineapple plantation history and facts
about growing pineapples. Visitors get to pick their
own fresh pineapple.

Maui Tropical Plantation Tour
Tours of 60 acre tropical plantation include a tram
tour past fields of tropical fruits and flowers
including papaya, guava, mango, macadamia nuts,
coconuts, coffee, avocado, bananas, sugar cane, star fruit,
orchids, and plumeria. There is a lagoon and a
gazebo on the grounds and also a gift shop and
the Waikapu Grill cafe. Located in Waikapu.
Kauai Plantation Tours

Located in Kaumakani on the island of Kauai.
Grove Farm Homestead
Located on Nawiliwili road in the town of Lihue
on Kauai.
Hoopulapula Haraguchi Rice Mill
The mill in Hanalei on the island of Kauai is being restored,
so for now tours are only available to schools and other groups.
Located on Oniki road in Hanalei.
Waimea Sugar Mill Camp Museum
Located in Waimea on the southwest coast of Kauai.
Molokai Plantation Tours
Honouliwai Taro Patch Farm
Visit this taro farm on the east side of the island
of Molokai to learn about growing taro and to
meet the resident water buffalo.
Molokai Coffee Plantation Estate Tour
Online tour of a coffee plantation
on the island of Molokai that was formerly
a pineapple plantation. Contact the plantation
owners at 808-567-9241 to find out if they still offer
tours to the public in a mule drawn wagon.
Purdy's All Natural Macadamia Nut Farm
On this 70 year old macadamia nut plantation visitors
can tour the homestead and learn about growing,
harvesting, and shelling macadamianuts.
