On July 22, 2006 windsurfers, kite surfers, kite canoes, and kite catamarans will attempt to cross the Pailolo Channel between Maui and Molokai, which is one of the windiest and roughest channels in the Hawaiian Islands. The event is a benefit for Molokai's "Youth in Motion" program.December 2005
